Disney fans, rejoice — the long-awaited sequel to one of the studio’s most beloved animated films is finally on the horizon. Zootopia 2 has officially been announced with a brand-new teaser trailer released today, nearly nine years after the original Zootopia captivated audiences worldwide. The sequel is scheduled for theatrical release on November 26, 2025, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
A Return to the Animal Kingdom
The teaser marks the triumphant return of Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, the unlikely crime-fighting duo from the original film. Once again voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, the characters are thrust into a new mystery that threatens the peace of their diverse metropolis.
