The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 Premieres in September — Watch the Teaser

AMC has officially announced that The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon will return for its highly anticipated Season 3 on September 7, 2025, on both AMC and AMC+. Along with the date reveal comes a brand-new teaser trailer that shows Daryl and Carol battling across the eerie landscapes of a post-apocalyptic Spain.

“It felt like something got lost…” Daryl whispers in the teaser, as haunting shots of ruined cities and undead threats fill the screen.

The trailer shows Norman Reedus (Daryl) and Melissa McBride (Carol) navigating new terrain, both physically and emotionally. Carol is heard saying, “First you survive… then you start living again,” a signal that the season will dig deeper into hope, resilience, and their fight for something more than survival.

🎬 Set in Spain, Filmed Across Iconic Locations

Season 3 was filmed throughout Madrid, Catalonia, Galicia, Aragón, and Valencia, marking a bold change in the franchise’s visual tone. With European ruins, Gothic churches, and sun-drenched streets as backdrops, the setting promises a cinematic flavor unlike anything seen in the franchise so far.

👥 New Cast and Returning Favorites

Joining Reedus and McBride this season are:

  • Eduardo Noriega as Antonio
  • Óscar Jaenada as Fede
  • Alexandra Masangkay as Paz
  • Guest appearance by Stephen Merchant

The cast reflects a more global expansion of The Walking Dead universe, continuing AMC’s strategy of telling stories across different parts of the world.

🧭 Season 3 Focus

The show continues to center on Daryl and Carol’s journey to return home, though the road is far from straightforward. AMC teased emotional turns, unexpected reunions, and philosophical questions about rebuilding after the fall of society.
