The highly anticipated teaser trailer for Peacemaker Season 2 has been released, confirming the return of John Cena as Christopher Smith, aka Peacemaker. The new season is set to premiere on Max on August 21, 2025, and will consist of eight episodes.
Returning cast members include Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. The series also introduces new faces such as Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., along with Sol Rodríguez, David Denman, and Tim Meadows.
The trailer hints at a major plotline where Peacemaker is on the run from Rick Flag Sr., who is seeking revenge for his son’s death. Fans are also excited to see interactions with members of the Justice League International, including Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn), Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced), and Green Lantern Guy Gardner (Nathan Fillion), suggesting the show’s deeper connection to the DC Universe.
