Doctor Doom First Look Leaked from Avengers: Doomsday?

Marvel fans are buzzing as alleged concept art for Avengers: Doomsday reveals what could be our first look at Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The leaked image, making the rounds on social media and concept art platforms, shows a regal, armored figure—widely believed to be Doctor Doom—seated on a throne in a gothic, multiversal throne room.

The artwork was originally uploaded to ArtStation by concept artist Mushk Rizvi, sparking immediate speculation. In the image, Doctor Doom appears draped in a green cloak with intricate gold armor—drawing visual inspiration from both comic lore and cinematic flair.

While the images are visually striking, their authenticity is currently disputed. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who are confirmed to be helming Avengers: Doomsday and the follow-up Secret Wars, have denied any connection to the leaked artwork, clarifying that it’s not from their official production pipeline.

Even so, fans are excited at the idea of Robert Downey Jr. returning to the MCU—not as Iron Man, but as a powerful new villain. Previous reports have suggested that the multiverse saga will introduce a darker version of Tony Stark from an alternate universe, reimagined as Doctor Victor Von Doom, ruler of Battleworld.

Marvel Studios has yet to comment officially on the leak.

🗓️ Avengers: Doomsday is slated to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, setting the stage for Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027.
